Describes the author's account of her travels around the Philippines via the cable ship Burnside. The crew composts of eight male army officers, two women passengers, and a child. The ship sailed to Dumaguete, Misamis, Iligan, Cebu, Zamboanga, Sulu, Bongao, Cagayan, and South Cotabato.
